BREAKING: AC Milan defender agrees Parma transfer

AC Milan right-back Andrea Conti is set to join Parma after the agreement with Fiorentina collapsed. Pedulla reports the details of the deal.

After Leo Duarte who moved the Turkey, Andrea Conti is destined to become the second AC Milan player to leave. The Italian full-back will join Parma after the collapse of the agreement with Fiorentina.

Journalist Alfredo Pedulla reports that an appointment had been set with Fiorentina but did not happen because the Viola wanted to wait for the arrival of president Commisso in Italy. The player was unimpressed with Fiorentina’s attitude and will join Parma instead.

Andrea Conti will move to Parma on loan with obligation to make the transfer permanent for a fee of around 7 million euros with medicals scheduled for Tuesday. At Parma, Conti will reteam with his former coach Roberto D’Aversa who launched his career at Virtus Lanciano.

The 26-year-old has decided to leave Milan after losing his starting spot on the right to Davide Calabria. This season, even when a substitute was needed, coach Stefano Pioli has preferred many times Diogo Dalot over the Italian defender (Andrea has made only 4 appearances so far).

Andrea Conti joined AC Milan in 2017 from Atalanta for a figure of 24 million euros. During his four years at San Siro the former Atalanta right-back has made 50 appearances with injuries hampering his career and restricting his play time.
